Due to the requirements for country-code top-level domains (ccTLDs), real-name verification must be completed before the transfer can proceed. The steps for CN real-name verification are as follows:
1. Click on Management Center > Domain Management > Contact Template, and add valid and accurate template information on the Add Contact Template page.
2. Click on 'Domain Managment,' locate the template, and click on 'View' next to it to proceed.
3. After entering, scroll down to the bottom of the page, locate the registrar [Tnet/Dynadot/UsdtName3], and click on [Add new ccTLDs ]. In the 'Add new ccTLDs' pop-up, click [Add ].
4. CN template verification distinguishes between [Within China] and [Outside China], and the submission requirements for verification differ for each. The specific steps are as follows:
A. CN Template Verification for Mainland China.
a. Individual Template Verification for Mainland Chin:
Select the template type as [Individual], choose the document type (e.g., ID card), enter the correct document name and document number as required, upload the relevant document photos, and click [Submit].
b. Organization or Enterprise Template Verification for Mainland China:
Select the template type as [Organization or Company], choose the document type, enter the correct company name, document number, legal representative's name, and legal representative's document number as required, upload the relevant document photos, and click [Submit].
B. CN Template Verification for Outside China.
a. Individual Template Verification for Outside China:
[Individual], choose the document type (e.g., passport), enter the correct document name and document number as required, upload the relevant document photos and the declaration letter, and click [Submit].
Please note: The individual template for Outside China requires uploading a personal declaration letter. [Procedure for uploading the declaration letter: Click to download and read the content of the declaration letter, then sign and scan the document before uploading the image].
b. Organization or Company Template Verification for Outside China:
Select the template type as [Organization or Company], choose the document type, enter the correct company name, document number, legal representative's name, and legal representative's document number as required, upload the relevant document photos and the declaration letter, and click [Submit].
5. After submission, wait for CNNIC review, which usually takes 3 business days. Once approved, the CN verification status will change to [Verification Succeeded]. If the review is not approved, the CN verification status will change to [Vaildation Failed]. You can click [Resubmit] or [Modify] in the action bar to resubmit the verification documents. As shown in the image below:
6. Once the CN template verification is successful, you can proceed with the domain template transfer.
Important Notes:
a. The image size must not exceed 2000 KB, and the width and height must not exceed 1000 px. Allowed image formats: JPG/PNG.
b. A mainland China passport cannot be used for individual template verification outside of China.
c. The template information must be accurate and valid. Providing invalid information may affect the result of the CN template verification.
d. Please ensure that you use your own identification documents for verification. Any consequences resulting from the use of someone else's documents for verification will be at your own risk!
